Preface

It has been becoming a dilemma for the community over the village, because they must face the reality of life is very difficult right now. On the one hand they stay in Bali, with a range predicate glamorous life that considers the entire community has enjoyed the cake tourism industry. On the other hand they have to struggle to live in real life with alarming levels of the economy. Not to mention going to school, to get eating everyday they have worked hard to make money with a variety of work they could do.

Kuta, Nusa Dua, Sanur, Jimbaran, Ubud and other tourist areas may be much more fortunate than inland areas Karangasem, Bangli, Buleleng, Jembrana and rural areas are not touched by tourism cake. If we take a stroll into the village, then understand that not all areas of Bali get the welfare impact of the tourism industry.Farmers, fishermen, construction workers, day laborers, and many freelancers who do not have a steady income to support their families. Their children can get basic education only, and are not financially able to continue to the next level. They really survive in the midst of the difficulties of life and globalization.

The Foundation

This foundation, named, Shanti Dharma Jagaditha (SDJ), means that creating peace and harmony to poor people at villages of Bali by empowering and enlightening them based on truth path (Dharma). This foundation is made not just care about their fate, but more than that they should help us both from counseling and mentoring and also increase the expertise in the field of rural businesses. Concerned with helping the beginning of the various problems they experienced.  We find the links that can help lighten their load early. Then we will provide facilities associated with an increase in human resources, starting from their children. After that we invite volunteers consisting of students, community organizations and NGOs, who are in Bali to become volunteers in providing free additional education and training to children. We build a small garden and a library reading in areas not reached the media, to provide more resources for the community around reading.

You and Us

We can not complete our mission without your care and help. We see more in the fields and feel that something must be done before it getting worse and worse. Too wide the gap between those who get benefit from tourism industry and those who suffered in remote villages. We traveled and informed you all details of real condition by updating this page all the times. And then you can participate what you can do. Only you and us, can help them. No access for government event stake holders to help them because they do not see the reality. Only seat and order, and act whatever they get benefit from their policy.
